A young patient came in with an unusual growth under her toenail that had been causing pain and concern. Upon closer examination, we discovered a nail tumor that required surgical removal. In this graphic but informative procedure, we carefully extract the growth to prevent further damage to the nail bed and surrounding tissue. Early intervention like this is essential to preserve nail health and function.
